Senior Automation Tester (Java)

We're growing our team and seeking a Senior Automation Tester with strong Java capabilities to come aboard. In this role, you'll take an active part in confirming that products satisfy quality benchmarks and perform dependably before they reach end customers. Responsibilities

• Write and polish automation scripts intended to confirm application performance spanning multiple system tiers
• Determine which application areas deserve automation priority and arrange test scope according to risk factors and business significance
• Trigger automated test batches and study the resulting output to catch issues before software goes live
• Team up with engineering staff and business contacts to interpret upcoming feature needs and turn them into workable test scenarios
• Refresh and reinforce current automated test collections so they remain aligned with application changes over time
• Track down the source of failed test runs, separating actual product bugs from errors embedded in the test scripts
• Play a part in shaping testing tactics and structures that accommodate new features and platform enhancements
• Contribute to planning conversations focused on estimating the time and effort testing tasks will demand
• Support steady continuous integration functioning by confirming automated tests operate correctly inside build pipeline workflows
• Maintain notes on testing techniques, known challenges, and helpful practices to foster shared learning across the team

Requirements

• Educational background covering Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field
• At least three years of practical, hands-on exposure to automation testing work
• Confident, applied knowledge of Java geared toward developing automated test solutions
• Previous hands-on use of Java-based tools built for Web UI automation purposes
• Demonstrated skill constructing automated checks for both web services and API endpoints
• Comfort working with version control solutions for overseeing and tracking source code modifications
• Thorough understanding of the principles behind building and organizing test automation architecture
• Applied experience incorporating BDD frameworks into Java-oriented test environments
• Capable communication skills combined with C1-level English fluency or higher, allowing precise comprehension of business needs and their translation into agentic architecture frameworks
