Senior Automation Tester (JavaScript - ReactJS and Backend Java Services)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester to join our team and enhance the reliability of our Virtual Care solutions.

This position involves creating automated testing frameworks for ReactJS frontends and Java microservices, ensuring seamless functionality and high-quality performance for remote patient monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for ReactJS applications and Java-based backend services
• Align testing strategies with architectural changes, including microservices transitions and cloud infrastructure implementation
• Test Restful APIs using tools like Postman to validate accuracy and performance
• Conduct integration testing with testcontainer methods for Java services and relational databases, such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
• Incorporate Agile methodologies, including SAFe, to improve team collaboration and project timelines
• Use Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage test planning, execution, and outcome analysis
• Leverage GitHub Actions to integrate CI/CD workflows into testing processes
• Test containerized applications in Docker and Kubernetes environments
• Ensure the quality and performance of microservices architectures hosted on AWS
• Provide technical support and solutions for resolving complex testing challenges

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automated testing for ReactJS applications and Java-based backend systems
• Proficiency in tools like Selenium and Postman for functional and API testing
• Background in integration testing for relational databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub, with an emphasis on GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes
• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes environments for testing containerized applications
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe
• Competency in microservices architectures on cloud platforms, especially AWS
• English proficiency at C1 level (CEFR) or B1 level if fluent in Portuguese

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) for task and test management
• Showcase of experience in testing legacy system modernization projects
• Flexibility to use integration testing methods involving testcontainers
• Qualifications in managing testing across multiple relational databases
