Senior Automation Tester (JS)

We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester in JS to join our team. Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies that align with project timelines and delivery goals
• Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution, working closely with development teams
• Review product requirements and specifications to determine appropriate test coverage
• Build and maintain robust, scalable testing solutions that support long-term project needs
• Analyze test outcomes and provide clear, actionable reporting to relevant stakeholders
• Participate in sprint planning and estimation sessions, contributing a quality-focused perspective
• Continuously evaluate and refine existing testing practices to improve efficiency and coverage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are upheld throughout the development lifecycle
• Investigate production issues to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures
• Mentor junior team members, sharing best practices and supporting their professional growth

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on, relevant experience working as an Automation Tester in JS
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for building and maintaining test scripts
• Practical experience using Playwright for automated testing
• Background working with web UI test automation tools built in JS
• Experience automating tests for web services and APIs
• Familiarity with version control systems for managing and tracking code changes
• Solid understanding of test automation framework architecture and design
• Experience working with BDD frameworks in JS
• Solid communication skills with working English fluency at B2 level or higher, supporting clear understanding of business requirements and their translation into technical solutions
