Senior Automation Tester (JS)

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute testing frameworks that stay closely tied to project timelines and delivery milestones
• Locate, document, and follow through on problems from the moment they surface until they're fully addressed, collaborating tightly with developers
• Review product specifications and requirements to gauge the right level and range of testing needed
• Build and keep up reliable, flexible testing structures capable of adjusting to shifting project needs
• Turn testing data into concise, actionable summaries for the appropriate stakeholders
• Take part in sprint planning and estimation conversations, keeping quality considerations front and center
• Continually revisit and strengthen existing test methodologies to sharpen speed and broaden coverage
• Coordinate with cross-departmental teams to sustain consistent quality standards throughout the development process
• Dig into production issues to trace their root origins and put forward ways to prevent them from recurring
• Help junior staff grow by transferring practical knowledge and providing ongoing mentorship

Requirements

• More than three years of direct, applicable experience in automated testing centered on JS
• Strong grasp of JavaScript and TypeScript for building and maintaining test automation scripts
• Real-world experience applying Playwright to execute automated test runs
• Exposure to JS-based tools designed to automate testing of web user interfaces
• Experience crafting automated test suites for web services and API endpoints
• Comfort using version control systems to oversee and document code changes
• Solid understanding of the core architecture and design concepts underlying test automation frameworks
• Practical experience configuring BDD frameworks within JavaScript projects
• Clear communication skills combined with working English fluency at B2 level or above, supporting accurate translation of business requirements into technical deliverables
