Senior Automation Tester (JS)
We're currently searching for a Senior Automation Tester in JS to become part of our expanding team. This position lets you play a direct role in strengthening product dependability within a fast-moving, cooperative engineering setting. Responsibilities
- Formulate and put into action testing plans that align closely with project deadlines and delivery goals
- Uncover, catalog, and monitor problems from initial discovery all the way to resolution, working in tandem with the development team
- Evaluate product requirements and specifications to determine the appropriate depth and breadth of testing
- Create and maintain sturdy, adaptable testing systems designed to support evolving project demands
- Convert testing findings into clear, practical reports for distribution to relevant stakeholders
- Contribute to sprint planning and workload estimation discussions from a quality-oriented standpoint
- Consistently examine and upgrade existing testing approaches to enhance both speed and coverage
- Team up with multiple functional groups to preserve quality standards across the entire development lifecycle
- Probe into production-related problems to identify root causes and recommend preventive actions
- Foster the development of junior team members by sharing valuable methods and offering guidance
Requirements
- Over three years of hands-on, relevant experience working in JS-focused test automation
- Solid proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, used for developing and sustaining automated test scripts
- Practical experience leveraging Playwright to conduct automated test execution
- Working knowledge of JS-based tooling built for automating web UI test processes
- Background developing automated test coverage for web services and APIs
- Familiarity with version control tools for tracking and managing changes to code
- Thorough understanding of the structural and design fundamentals behind test automation frameworks
- Applied experience setting up BDD frameworks within a JavaScript-based environment
- Strong communication skills paired with working English fluency at B2 level or higher, supporting clear translation of business needs into technical results
