Senior Automation Tester (JS)

We are on the lookout for a Senior Automation Tester in JS to join our growing team. Responsibilities

• Craft and implement testing approaches that remain in sync with project timelines and delivery targets
• Detect, record, and track issues from discovery through final resolution, coordinating closely with the development side
• Assess product specifications and requirements to define proper testing scope and depth
• Develop and uphold resilient, expandable testing infrastructure suited to ongoing project needs
• Translate testing results into straightforward, useful reports shared with appropriate stakeholders
• Engage in sprint planning and effort estimation, bringing a lens focused on product quality
• Routinely review and enhance current testing techniques to increase both speed and thoroughness
• Partner with various functional teams to keep quality benchmarks intact across the full development cycle
• Look into issues arising in production to determine underlying causes and propose steps to avoid repeat occurrences
• Support the growth of less experienced team members by passing along effective techniques and mentorship

Requirements

• Three-plus years of applied, relevant background working as an Automation Tester specializing in JS
• Strong capability in JavaScript and TypeScript for writing and maintaining automated test scripts
• Hands-on background using Playwright to carry out automated testing
• Familiarity with JS-based frameworks designed for automating web UI test coverage
• Experience building automated tests targeting web services and APIs
• Comfortable working with version control platforms to track and manage code revisions
• Deep understanding of the architecture and design principles behind test automation frameworks
• Hands-on background implementing BDD frameworks in a JavaScript setting
• Effective communication abilities with working English fluency at B2 level or higher, enabling clear interpretation of business needs and their conversion into technical outcomes
