SSI Institute is the main domain in Vehicle Development Division of VinFast, responsible of developping Smart Services including Connected Car Back-end, FOTA, SOTA, Remote Services, Virtual Assisstant,…, Infotainment and connectivity devices (Multimedia Head Unit, Telematic Box, XGateway), Cyber Security on the vehicle
- Generate the assigned smart services roadmap by week/month with dashboards to demonstrate improvement iterations - work closely with Planning (Working knowledge of Jira, TFS, Codebeamer required)
- Generate Release schedule commitment for the assigned devices (including app, if any) - own the live document
- Manage the interface to planning for new commercial contracts and third party features - generate a roadmap by customer value
- Drive the development team to fullfill targets of product maturity in term of hardware and software, quality metric according to development phases (A/B/C/D sample or EP/PTO/LS/SOP/STC/STD vehicle).
- Direct the consistent use of Feature burn ups, Bug burn downs, delivery velocity and defect density metrics (from TFS/JIRA)
- Generate the blocker tracker for all devices to provide a system view of maturity
- Work with the Hardware and in house Manufacturing teams to define deadlines, maturity gateways including
- 2nd and 3rd source components tracking. Track mechanical test and sign of status
- Collaborate with the UX team, Vehicle System Requirements team, and other relevant teams to manage the scheduling of UX/UI new content reviews, as well as the planning of related releases and baseline specifications.Ensure there is a clear metric and progression for Requirement completeness and test case linkages
- Provide concise reports for DV completions status
- Ensure that the project development plan is fully aligned with the certification roadmap, including regulatory requirements and other certifications such as Android Auto & Apple Carplay
During Software Integration
- Set up the process for delivering cross functional features - coordinate architecture reviews and drive implementation plans
- Expose the status for Cross functional feature delivery
- Create metrics for System test completion and status
- Manage the progression of Automated test coverage
- Chair and schedule the following on a continuous basis
- Smart services delivery completeness
- Software releasing project
- Drive the internal Quality metrics including internal crash reports, Uptime (device and cloud), stability and performance
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Monitoring legislative changes and lead the conducting of impact analysis
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Coordinate internal resources (BE/FE/App/UXUI/QA) and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Negotiate deliverables, timelines, and quality standards with suppliers.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams, management, and external stakeholders
Financial & Resource Oversight
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Forecast resource requirements and adjust allocation based on project needs.
- Report regularly on budget usage, risks, and potential overruns.
Requirements
- Good working and implementation knowledge
of “Agile/Scrum” and agile/scrum practices in a similar environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of metric creation
in an Agile/Aspice environment to drive performance and delivery
- Demonstrated success of working with cross
functional teams and diverse geographical locations
- Fluent spoken (and ideally written) English
and Vietnamese for international communications and coordination of
diverse skill teams
- Strong interpersonal skills and
demonstrated leadership behaviors
- Knowledge of IoT/EV products and services
- Demonstrated Business acumen with a good
understanding of planning, strategy and implementation
Optional qualification:
- Good knowledge of the inner workings of
Vingroup to maximize the value of connectivity for the Enterprise
- Being able to generate the Smart services
roadmap with dashboards to demonstrate improvement iterations
- Knowledge of network protocol (both
operator and device side), network core platform, Telematics, eSIM
