About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Automotive Software Developer to join their innovative, remote-first engineering team. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software for automotive embedded systems using languages like C/C++, Python, or Java.

- Collaborate with hardware engineers, systems engineers, and product managers to define software requirements and specifications.
- Optimize software performance, memory usage, and power consumption for embedded environments.
- Implement and maintain robust testing frameworks, including unit tests, integration tests, and system tests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects and issues in development and production environments.
- Ensure software compliance with automotive standards (e.g., AUTOSAR, ISO 26262).
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in embedded software development, with a significant focus on the automotive industry.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and experience with scripting languages like Python.
- Deep understanding of embedded operating systems (e.g., Linux, QNX) and real-time concepts.
- Experience with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, LIN) and software architectures (e.g., AUTOSAR).
- Proven ability to design, develop, and debug complex software systems.
