Senior AUTOSAR Embedded Software Engineer

Safeguard Global Italy is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to join the BSWE team in Torino. You will develop base level software layers, integrate with functional safety principles, and configure AUTOSAR layers and middleware.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in a related field, 5+ years of embedded C/C++ experience, hands-on AUTOSAR stack knowledge (OS, COM, MEM, DIAG), and strong debugging and communication skills.

Develop base level software layers for embedded ECUs. Configure AUTOSAR layers and integrate middleware stacks. Adhere to functional safety principles in development. Develop low-level MCU drivers for peripherals. Design architectures for embedded software and guide lifecycle implementation. Collaborate with BSWE team and communicate effectively. Bachelor of Science in CS/CE/EE or related field. 5 years embedded C/C++ experience. Knowledge of Classic AUTOSAR concepts. Hands-on AUTOSAR stack (OS, COM, MEM, DIAG). Experience developing low-level MCU drivers. Architect embedded software across lifecycle. Good communication and teamwork. Experience configuring AUTOSAR Basic Software. Knowledge of microcontrollers, multi-core architectures, cybersecurity and functional safety. Familiar with compilers, emulators, debuggers and related tools. Strong analytical and debugging skills. Eager to learn with problem solving.
