Senior AWS Cloud Network Engineer (DevOps & Infrastructure Migration)
Summary
Senior engineer at FPT Software who assesses, designs, and migrates on-premises network and security infrastructure to AWS — building landing zones with AWS CDK, migrating tools like Cisco ISE, Check Point, SolarWinds, and Zscaler, and handling cutover and stabilization. Hybrid role based in Makati or Cebu with mid-shift hours.
Job Summary
Responsible for assessing, designing, and migrating selected on-premises infrastructure and
security services to AWS, including cloud network architecture, automation, CI/CD, integration,
and production stabilization.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Assess the existing infrastructure and design secure, scalable AWS target architecture.
2. Prepare AWS landing zones, networking, security controls, and infrastructure using AWS
CDK (IaC).
3. Migrate and integrate QIP/Cygna Labs DDI, Cisco ISE, SolarWinds, Jump
Server/Bastion, Check Point Firewall, and Zscaler App Connectors.
4. Evaluate rehosting, refactoring, replacement with AWS-native services, or alternative
AWS-compatible deployment approaches.
5. Execute migration testing, production cutover, troubleshooting, and post-migration
stabilization.
Job Qualifications:
Must Have Skill/s:
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, cloud networking, and security
architecture. (at least 5 years of experience)
• AWS Network Specialty Certification
• Knowledge of enterprise networking, firewalls, identity and access management,
DNS/DHCP/IPAM, monitoring, and secure remote access.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
Good to Have Skill/s:
• Experience with API development, system integration, and infrastructure migration.
Work Arrangement:
Work set-up: Hybrid/WFH (RTO when needed)
Work location: Makati Paseo / Cebu IT Park (Open to Manila and Cebu based candidates)
Work schedule: Mid Shift (1pm-10pm)
