Senior AWS DevOps Engineer
Summary
Senior AWS DevOps Engineer migrating CI/CD from Jenkins to GitLab CI and automating AWS infrastructure with Terraform and CloudFormation.
We're looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer who can drive the migration from Jenkins to GitLab CI on the customer's web side. Our environment includes several CI/CD jobs along with service jobs supporting a bi-scale AWS-based system.
Responsibilities
- Drive the migration process from Jenkins to GitLab CI on the customer's web side
- Keep CI/CD jobs running smoothly for a bi-scale AWS-based system
- Oversee service jobs throughout the AWS infrastructure
- Work closely with technical staff, Business Analysts, management, and business team members
- Set up Infrastructure-as-code through CloudFormation and Terraform
- Build automation scripts to enhance CI/CD processes
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- At least 5 years of experience working with DevOps and CI/CD tools in Cloud environments
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud services such as S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Lambda, API Gateway, Amazon MQ, and CloudWatch
- Capability in Infrastructure-as-Code practices using CloudFormation and Terraform
- Strong command of scripting languages including Python, Bash, and Ansible
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitLab CI/CD
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with both technical and business teams
- English language proficiency at B2 level or above
