Senior AWS / DevOps Infrastructure Engineer — Existing System Recovery (EQUITY ONLY Compensation)

Compensation: 2.0% – 5.0%

FinOptima is looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Senior AWS / DevOps Infrastructure Engineer for an urgent short-term project to investigate, reconstruct and restore an existing cloud environment supporting our AI product and customer demo.

This is not a greenfield AWS setup and not a basic DevOps role. We have an existing codebase with 20+ repositories, multiple services and languages, and an AWS environment that was previously operational, but the deployment and infrastructure were not sufficiently documented.

Immediate objective:

Understand how the existing AWS environment was built and how the components interact, identify missing configurations and dependencies, restore the infrastructure to a working state where possible, and document everything required for another engineer to reproduce and maintain it.

We need someone with:

• Deep hands-on AWS infrastructure experience, including services beyond basic EC2/storage • Strong troubleshooting and infrastructure-recovery skills • Experience reverse-engineering poorly documented existing cloud environments • Deployment, networking, IAM, APIs, microservices and cloud configuration experience • Ability to work across multiple repositories and identify infrastructure/application dependencies • Ability to work independently with limited documentation • Strong documentation and knowledge-transfer discipline

Experience with AI/ML infrastructure is a strong plus.

This is an urgent, hands-on engagement. We are specifically looking for someone who can investigate and solve, not someone who requires a detailed implementation plan to execute.
