Senior Azure Cloud Engineer – Infrastructure & Security

As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer – Infrastructure & Security, you will be working for our client, a leading global organization in the financial industry. You will play a pivotal role within the Azure Cloud Services team, responsible for building and managing highly resilient, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure that aligns with rigorous security policies and operational standards. Your expertise will help deliver innovative cloud solutions, enabling the organization to stay ahead in a competitive landscape.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Build and manage the Azure foundational platform to support application deployment and operational needs.
  • Engineer solutions on Azure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform to automate deployment processes.
  • Develop and maintain code libraries following functional pattern lifecycle processes—design, document, develop, and refine.
  • Integrate, configure, and manage common cloud services including IAM, networking, monitoring, operating systems, and containers.
  • Manage Azure connectivity and networking components such as ExpressRoute, DNS, IP allocation, traffic routing, NSGs, and Azure Firewall.
  • Utilize centrally provided hardened OS images (Linux and Windows) to ensure standardization and security compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to security standards, operational risk standards, and compliance policies, including cloud security monitoring and auditing.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience building and managing services in Azure.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies (Terraform, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing cloud security and compliance solutions, especially IAM and network security tools.
  • Solid experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines across multiple technology stacks.
  • Customer/stakeholder focus with the ability to collaborate effectively across global, local, and cross-functional teams.

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-304, or equivalent.
  • Experience with security and compliance monitoring tools within cloud environments.

Language required for the role:

  • Fluent English command is essential.
