About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Engineer with a strong background in IoT (Internet of Things) data architectures to design, build, and scale our next-generation connected device platform. Experience:7+ years of experience developing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, with at least 2 years focused specifically on IoT and big data/analytics workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• IoT Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain secure edge-to-cloud IoT solutions using Azure IoT Hub, Azure IoT Edge, and Device Provisioning Service (DPS).
• Data Pipeline Development: Build scalable, high-throughput data streaming and batch processing pipelines using Azure Databricks (Spark/Delta Lake) and Azure Event Hubs.
• Cloud Development: Write clean, efficient code (Python, Scala, or C#) to process, transform, and store large-scale IoT telemetry data.
• Storage Optimization: Structure and optimize data storage architectures using Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2), Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL.
• DevOps & Automation: Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to automate infrastructure deployment (IaC using Terraform or Bicep) and code releases.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure end-to-end security for IoT devices and cloud infrastructure using Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and optimize Azure consumption costs across Databricks clusters and IoT streams.
