Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join a large enterprise technology environment, helping design, build and automate secure and scalable Azure cloud solutions.

This is a hands-on engineering position with a strong focus on Azure, Terraform, DevOps, CI/CD, identity and automation.
You will work alongside architects, developers, security, platform and operations teams to deliver cloud-native and hybrid solutions while helping improve engineering standards and platform maturity.

What you'll be doing

• Designing, building and managing secure, highly available Azure workloads
• Developing and optimising CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML
• Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Managing source control, branching, pull requests and release governance through Azure Repos
• Implementing identity and access solutions using Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory
• Working across RBAC, Conditional Access, SSO, SAML and SCIM
• Managing secrets and certificate lifecycles through Azure Key Vault
• Developing automation using PowerShell, Bash or Python
• Working across Azure compute, networking, storage, security and monitoring
• Building monitoring, logging, alerting and observability capability
• Creating reusable cloud modules, templates and engineering standards

What we're looking for:

• You'll ideally bring 7+ years of relevant technology experience with strong hands-on capability across:
• Azure Cloud | Terraform | Azure DevOps | CI/CD | Entra ID/AD | Key Vault | Azure Repos | PowerShell/Bash/Python
• Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Terraform Cloud and GitHub Copilot would be beneficial.
• Previous experience within Investment, Wealth Management or Superannuation

environments would also be highly regarded.
