Within ABN AMRO's Non-Financial Risk Grid, we are looking for a Senior Azure Data & DevOps Engineer who can help shape the next generation of data-driven risk applications on Azure. A significant focus of this role is the design, development, and optimisation of data platforms and data pipelines that support critical Market Abuse Monitoring processes. You will combine hands-on data engineering with technical leadership, helping teams adopt modern Azure, DevOps, and Data Engineering practices while driving standardisation across a diverse application landscape.

As an Senior Azure Data & DevOps Engineer, you are more than an engineer. You are a technical leader who helps the department strengthen its Azure cloud, DevOps, and Data Engineering capabilities.
You will: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions on Microsoft Azure. - Build and optimise data processing workflows using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Python, and PySpark. - Support the ongoing development and enhancement of data streams used for Market Abuse Monitoring and other Non-Financial Risk processes. - Drive standardisation of Azure DevOps pipelines, deployment processes, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices across multiple teams. - Improve CI/CD processes to increase reliability, security, and delivery speed for both applications and data platforms. - Design and implement integrations between applications, databases, and cloud-based data platforms. - Define techn...
