Senior Azure Data Engineer

What you’ll do

  • Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure, Databricks, PySpark and SQL.
  • Develop ETL/ELT solutions and integrate data from SAP, databases, APIs and cloud platforms.
  • Build modern lakehouse architectures with Databricks and Delta Lake.
  • Modernize enterprise data platforms and migrate legacy data warehouses to Azure.
  • Optimize data pipelines, Spark workloads and SQL performance.
  • Implement data governance, security and monitoring.
  • Contribute to CI/CD, automation and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with platform, analytics and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions that support reporting, analytics and AI.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong experience in data engineering and enterprise data platforms.
  • Hands‑on expertise with Databricks, PySpark, SQL and Delta Lake.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure SQL, Synapse and Azure Functions.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modelling and modern lakehouse architecture.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Databricks Lakeflow, Delta Live Tables or streaming architectures.
  • Knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience supporting AI/ML, GenAI or RAG data solutions.
  • Experience modernizing legacy data warehouses or integrating SAP data.

Salary range in Poland: 13,880 - 17,340 zl. gross. Final offer depends on candidate experience and competence.
