The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platforms, with a strong focus on automation, reliability, security and operational excellence.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with strong hands‑on experience across Microsoft Azure, AKS, Terraform, Kubernetes and container platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platforms, with a strong focus on automation, reliability, security and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and manage Azure cloud infrastructure across development, test and production environments.
- Administer and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerised workloads.
- Develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Azure environments.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and application deployments.
- Implement Kubernetes deployments, services, ingress, networking, secrets and configuration management.
- Manage Docker/container platforms and container lifecycle processes.
- Implement Azure networking, security, identity and access controls.
- Monitor platform health, performance, availability and capacity.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, Kubernetes, deployment and production issues.
- Implement DevOps best practices around source control, branching, release management and automation.
- Work closely with developers, architects, security and operations teams.
- Contribute to cloud migration, platform modernisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop scripts and automation using PowerShell, Bash or Python.
Mandatory Skills
- 7+ years of DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience
- Strong hands‑on Microsoft Azure experience
- Strong Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) experience
- Strong Terraform experience
- Hands‑on Kubernetes administration
- Strong Docker and containerisation experience
