Role & responsibilities
- Review ABELDents existing Azure architecture and current deployment process.
- Work with ABELDents technical team to understand the resources and configuration that constitute an ABELDent Cloud ring.
- Design a reusable Terraform-based deployment-stamp architecture.
- Develop reusable and maintainable Terraform modules for provisioning Azure resources.
- Parameterize deployments so the same codebase can support multiple environments, customers and Azure regions.
- Automate deployment and configuration wherever practical.
- Incorporate appropriate Azure networking, security, identity and access-control principles.
- Develop automated validation to confirm that newly created environments have been provisioned correctly.
- Integrate the deployment process with an appropriate CI/CD workflow.
- Create clear technical documentation and transfer knowledge to ABELDents development and infrastructure teams.
Preferred candidate profile
Candidates should have demonstrated production experience with:
- Microsoft Azure and Terraform / HashiCorp Configuration Language (HCL).
- Infrastructure as Code, reusable Terraform modules and parameterized deployments.
- Azure networking, security, identity and access management.
- Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Key Vault and Private Endpoints.
- CI/CD and automated infrastructure deployment using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
- PowerShell, Azure CLI or equivalent deployment scripting.
- Automated deployment validation and troubleshooting.
