Senior Azure Platform Engineer (Azure, DevOps, Terraform) / Warsaw
📍 Location: Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid 2 days/week)

This role will have a significant impact on delivering innovative solutions for one of the leading retailers in the UK, supporting digital transformation and enhancing customer experiences.
You will work on projects leveraging modern cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure, microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native platforms, helping to build scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.
Responsibilities
Design and implement cloud-native platforms on Microsoft Azure.
Build event-driven architectures using Azure Event Grid and related services.
Develop scalable data solutions leveraging Azure Cosmos DB.
Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Azure Container Apps.
Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of production environments.
Monitor system performance and optimize cost, availability, and resilience.
Collaborate with development, architecture, and DevOps teams to align platform capabilities with business requirements.
Apply governance, compliance, and security best practices across cloud environments.
Requirements
Core Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (must-have).

Practical experience with:
Azure Event Grid (event-driven integration).
Azure Cosmos DB (NoSQL, globally distributed databases).
Azure Container Apps (serverless container hosting).
Strong experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
Strong understanding of microservices and cloud-native architectures.
Platform Engineering & DevOps
Experience with:
Containerization technologies (Docker).
API management and integration patterns.
Monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
Strong understanding of:
High availability and fault-tolerant systems.
Scalability and performance optimization.
Cloud security best practices.
Nice to have
Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) or advanced container orchestration.
Knowledge of event streaming patterns (Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs).
Experience with data engineering or distributed systems.
Experience with enterprise-scale cloud migrations and modernization.
