The role is responsible for supporting the assessment, preparation, and execution of the migration and deployment of the Netrio/Oculus platform into the target production environment. This position contributes to the successful delivery of the project by participating in technical assessments, validating production readiness, supporting migration activities, and assisting with deployment, testing, and go-live operations.

The engagement is delivered in two phases:

1. Assessment and Planning – Conduct a comprehensive review of the current architecture, validate production readiness, identify risks and gaps, and develop a migration and deployment plan.

1. Production Build, Migration, Testing, and Go-Live Support – Build and configure the production environment, execute migration and synchronization activities, validate functionality and data quality, support production cutover, and provide post-go-live hypercare monitoring.

Requirements

• Strong Java core stack (across legacy and modern)
• Stateful stream processing — Apache Flink strongly preferred - understanding of watermarks, checkpointing, state recovery
• Experience with Kafka and messaging, including delivery guarantees (acks, idempotence, offsets)
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Security
• Strong knowledge of SQL and time-series databases, and Change Data Capture
• Experience with in-memory data grids (Hazelcast preferred)
• Knowledge of data migration / ETL, including reconciliation/validation
• Comfortable reverse-engineering legacy code and adding test coverage
• Bonus: REST/webhook and SOAP integration

Responsibilities

• Review and assess the existing Kafka, Flink, InfluxDB/MySQL, and integration architecture.

• Validate production readiness and identify gaps, risks, and dependencies.

• Assess high-availability (HA), failover, resiliency, and disaster recovery design considerations.

• Evaluate data parity between Netrio and SolarWinds systems and support remediation planning.

• Assist with the deployment of the production environment, including application installation and configuration.

• Support data migration and synchronization activities to ensure accurate and complete data transfer.

• Participate in functional testing and data quality validation activities.

• Provide support during production cutover activities and post-go-live hypercare monitoring.

• Document findings, recommendations, implementation plans, and operational support procedures.
