Responsibilities
- Own major backend features end-to-end.
- Work closely with our lead engineer on architecture and technical direction.

- Improve reliability, observability and foundations as the product scales.
Qualifications
- Have 5+ years of backend experience and strong fundamentals.
- Are very strong in TypeScript.
- Are comfortable with ambiguity and making judgement calls.
- Use AI tools confidently and responsibly (not “vibe coding”).
- Have experience scaling a system to a high volume of users.
Practical Details
- Location: London
- Working pattern: Hybrid, ~3 days per week in person
