Senior Back-End Engineer Node.js

You will build and improve an LLM-based agentic platform, from model orchestration and retrieval pipelines to tool calling and evaluation. You will create Python and Node.js services, MCP servers, React interfaces, secure platform architecture, and prototypes that bring valuable AI capabilities into production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve the LLM-based agentic platform
• Own architecture for model orchestration, prompts, retrieval, tool calling, and evaluation
• Build high-performance Python and Node.js services
• Design and maintain MCP servers
• Build React interfaces, dashboards, streaming UIs, and internal tools
• Translate product and compliance needs into technical requirements and roadmaps
• Ensure enterprise-grade security and regulatory standards
• Mentor engineers on full-stack and AI-system practices
• Evaluate, prototype, and integrate emerging models and tools

Requirements

• Availability during some US hours
• Proficiency in Hebrew and English
• Production experience with large language models, prompt engineering, RAG workflows, agent frameworks, and LLM evaluation
• Experience building and consuming MCP servers
• 5+ years of professional software development experience on complex full-stack systems
• Experience with JavaScript, React, and state management at scale
• Experience architecting on AWS, including DynamoDB, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway
• Understanding of TDD, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum leadership
• Ability to debug distributed systems and optimize real-time data flows
• AWS certification is desired
• Experience with Datadog or New Relic is desired
• Knowledge of Terraform is a plus
