Client is a global platform that shapes how millions of people discover, share, and engage with content every day. With over 500 million monthly users across thousands of communities, the product sits at the intersection of social interaction, real-time content discovery, and large-scale data-driven experiences.
As part of the International team, you will help build fast, scalable, and intuitive user experiences for a global audience, contributing directly to product growth and engagement. You’ll work on features that impact how users explore content, connect with communities, and interact with the platform in real time.
You’ll also collaborate with a high-impact Machine Learning Platform team that powers recommendations, content discovery, and user insights at scale. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with ML, Product, and Infrastructure teams, contributing to systems that process massive volumes of data and directly influence core product experiences.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Backend Engineer
- 2+ years of commercial experience with Go
- Strong understanding of building and maintaining production-level applications
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a remote or distributed team
- Experience with Apache Spark
- Experience with Apache Flink
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain the next generation backend system that powers the personalized feeds, search and products on a client platform
- Design, develop, and maintain high quality and performant frontend UI features
- Write efficient, scalable and maintainable code
- Develop and evolve test automation frameworks, tools, and services
- Collaborate across disciplines and with ML, Product and Infrastructure teams
- Overlapping till 2 pm PST daily is a must
