Backend Applications Architect
Responsibilities
- Managing a team and improving system architecture.
- Manage a team and help them prioritise, build, and ship the most impactful features to our merchants and community of developers.
- Improve system and architecture quality, security and performance.
- Generate and implement process improvements.
- Seek and hire backend talents.
- Conduct code reviews and make technical contributions to product architecture, as well as get involved in solving bugs and delivering small features.
Full-Stack Software Engineer
Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing systems framework design and development.
- Build quality and scalable software systems.
- Collect and analyse user and system requirements.
- Perform system design, prepare specifications and other system development documents.
- Perform code review to ensure coding standard.
- Conduct system test and user acceptance tests, and provide technical support.
Job Requirements
Backend Applications Architect
Requirements
- 5 years or more of relevant experience.
- 2 years or more of team leading experience.
- In-depth experience with PHP.
- Knowledge of Java or NodeJS will be an advantage.
- Hands-on experience building and designing large-scale applications.
- Hands-on experience working on a major public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ is preferred.
- Experience working in Docker and K8S environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing onshore/offshore teams is a plus.
- Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.
