Senior Backend/Cloud Software Engineer

Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, microservices, and REST APIs for the B2B data platform.
• Build scalable cloud-native services using AWS.
• Design and implement secure OAuth 2.0 / OIDC authentication and authorization solutions.
• Develop secure REST APIs and system-to-system integrations for external customers and partners.
• Define API contracts, service boundaries, integration patterns, and deployment architectures.
• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, tracing, and health checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across APIs, microservices, cloud deployments, and external integrations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Backend Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on experience developing backend systems, APIs, and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and API architecture.
• Hands-on experience with one or more backend languages:Java ,Python or TypeScript / Node.js
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, software testing, and release management.
• Experience with production troubleshooting and operational support.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is preferred.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools and practices.
