Senior Backend & Data Engineer

Nasze wymagania:

• 6–8 years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and backend application design.
• Practical experience with Python, particularly in AI tools, automation, and AI-based solutions.
• Hands-on DevOps experience with Kubernetes, GCP, and Terraform.
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and Apache Kafka.
• Expertise in ETL processes, data integration, and processing.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of software design principles (KISS, SOLID, DRY).
• Proficiency in Spring Boot Framework and its ecosystem.
• Experience designing and implementing high-performance data processing pipelines (preferably with Apache Beam).
• Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Bigtable).
• Basic understanding of DevOps & CI/CD technologies (Jenkins, Groovy scripting).
• Experience with integration frameworks and patterns (e.g., Saga, Lambda patterns).
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Mile widziane:

• Experience with GCP services (GKE, Cloud SQL, DataFlow, BigTable).
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with Kubernetes/Docker and Terraform.
• Knowledge of messaging/streaming systems (Kafka).
• Experience with Vaadin or Apache Beam.

Zakres obowiązków:

• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions, ensuring compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards.
• Integrate with internal systems, focusing on fast data processing and cost optimization.
• Design and document solution blueprints for market data ingestion patterns.
• Review and provide feedback on team members’ solutions.
• Assess and modernize existing data pipelines and microservices for improved efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to align solutions with business needs.
• Implement industry-standard logging, monitoring, error handling, and automated recovery.
• Promote automated unit and regression testing as part of a test-centric development approach.
