Senior Backend Developer

Summary

Designs and maintains backend applications using .NET 8 and ASP.NET Core, focusing on RESTful APIs, microservices, and SQL Server databases while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop and maintain backend applications using NET 8 ASP NET Core
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Design and optimize SQL Server databases and queries
  • Integrate with internal and third-party systems through APIs
  • Write clean secure and maintainable code following best practices
  • Participate in code reviews testing debugging and performance optimization
  • Support CI CD pipelines deployments and production environments
  • Collaborate with Product Managers Business Analysts QA DevOps and Solution Architects in an Agile environment
  • Minimum 5 years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior Backend Developer role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior Backend Developer role.
  • Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), or DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) are preferred.
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET 8/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with Microservices, Azure, Git, CI/CD, and secure software development practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, OAuth2/JWT, and cloud-native architectures. Government or enterprise digital transformation project experience is a plus.
