We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong .NET expertise to design and build reliable, scalable backend systems. You will play a key role in microservices design, system architecture, and maintaining high engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using C# and .NET
- Build scalable microservices with asynchronous processing and compensation mechanisms
- Ensure high code quality through reviews, unit testing, and technical debt management
- Optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability of backend systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design and API contracts
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Technical Requirements
Programming & Frameworks
- Strong proficiency in C#, including async/await and CancellationToken
- Hands‑on experience with HttpClient and best practices
- Extensive experience with WebAPI and MVC
- Solid understanding of CLR and Garbage Collection
- Best practices for using IDisposable
- Good knowledge of boxing and unboxing
- Strong Object‑Oriented Programming skills
- Hands‑on experience applying design patterns
- Proven ability to design microservices architectures
Code Quality
- Strong adherence to DRY principles
- Experience performing and participating in code reviews
- Hands‑on experience with unit testing (UT)
- Strong sense of ownership in identifying and resolving technical debt
CI/CD
- Experience with Jenkins pipelines
- Ability to write or maintain pipeline scripts (nice to have)
Nice to Have
- Experience with distributed systems or high‑traffic platforms
