Senior Backend Developer

Join Echelon Labs full-time to iterate on lending and leveraged-staking products, develop future DeFi products and RWA integrations, and help build Move-based infrastructure combining high performance with formal verification and interoperability across Ethereum ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Architect MVPs for Echelon's DeFi product suite, including margin accounts, trading, options vaults, and liquidity products.
• Build new smart contracts and supporting infrastructure using Move.
• Develop, test, and iterate smart contracts and systems.
• Deploy and monitor applications on testnet and mainnet.
• Work with frontend developers to streamline dApp integration and functionality.
• Evaluate Move-language documentation, smart contract libraries, and development tools for inclusion in the stack.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing high-TVL smart contracts for production environments or building backend systems at top technology companies.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and focus on code quality and best practices.
• Experience with a low-level programming language such as Rust, Go, Java, or C/C++.
• Familiarity with smart contract languages such as Move and Solidity.
• Code security and auditing experience.
