We are hiring a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in financial derivatives and enterprise backend systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable applications within investment banking, capital markets, or financial services environments. Key Responsibilities
Design and develop high-performance backend services, APIs, and microservices for derivatives trading, pricing, risk, and post-trade workflows. Build and optimize data models for trades, positions, cashflows, lifecycle events, and complex financial instruments. Develop solutions supporting Vanilla Options, Option Strategies, OTC Derivatives, and Structured Products. Implement trade lifecycle processes including trade capture, validation, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation. Integrate with market data feeds, trading platforms, risk systems, exchanges, and clearing houses. Develop real-time event-driven solutions for pricing, risk calculations, and trade processing. Collaborate with traders, risk managers, business analysts, and quantitative teams to deliver business-critical solutions. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions and best practices.
