Senior Backend Developer

Contract Role: Day Rate: €350-€380 per day, 8-12 month contract

You’ll join a large, distributed backend engineering community and work within cross-functional teams alongside product managers, frontend, and mobile engineers. You’ll play a key role in shaping core financial products, supporting a rapidly growing user base, and delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain backend services aligned with team and business goals
  • Write clean, well-documented, production-grade code
  • Contribute to service architecture, resilience, scalability, and robustness using Domain-Driven Design principles
  • Participate in technical decision-making and mentor other engineers as you grow in technical leadership

Business Tech Stack

Backend: Go, Frontend: React.Js, Mobile: Kotlin, Swift, Infrastructure: Kubernetes on AWS, Database: PostgreSQL, Messaging & Observability: Kafka, ELK stack, and other modern tools

Your Team

You’ll join a large Product Engineering organization, structured into small cross-functional teams across multiple domains, including: Customer onboarding, account management, and compliance; Payments and financial operations; Platform systems, integrations, and monetization; Cash flow management and bookkeeping tools; Collaborative accounting and pre-accounting solutions. Each team typically includes 6–8 backend engineers and owns its product scope end to end.
