What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, orrelated field (master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java,or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of API design and development, including RESTfuland GraphQL.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, orAzure.
• Expertise in implementing database security and code security toprevent hacking, SQL injection, and other cyber threats.
• Familiarity with security best practices including encryption,authentication, and access control.
• Experience in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, andensuring systems are secure by design.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and managemultiple priorities.
• Experience in microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Docker,Kubernetes.
• Previous experience in the real estate or hospitality sectors is aplus.
• Knowledge of security best practices and data protection.
  

KeyResponsibilities

• Leadthe design, development, and maintenance of robust backend systems andservices.
• Manageand mentor a team of 4 developers, providing technical direction, support, andperformance feedback.
• Collaborateclosely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and the DigitalTransformation team to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
• Optimizeapplication performance, ensuring responsiveness and scalability of server-sidelogic.
• Integratewith third-party APIs and develop RESTful services.
• Writeclean, scalable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices andindustry standards.
• Conductcode reviews, mentor junior developers, and provide technical guidance to theteam.
• Manageand optimize databases, ensuring data security, integrity, and performance.
• Implementdatabase and code security practices to prevent cyber threats such as hackingand SQL injection.
• Identifytechnical challenges and devise innovative solutions for continuousimprovement.
• Participatein the architecture design of digital products and solutions.
• Stayupdated with the latest technologies and industry trends, recommending andimplementing relevant updates.
