Senior Backend Developer – IoT (Node.js / Python)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js (TypeScript) and/or Python
  
• Build and optimize IoT platforms handling device communication, telemetry, and real-time data ingestion
  
• Implement and manage MQTT-based messaging systems for reliable device communication
  
• Design and develop micro services architectures with RESTful APIs
  
• Implement authentication and authorization using Keycloak
  
• Work with MySQL and MongoDB for high-performance data storage and retrieval
  
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments using container orchestration tools
  
• Write and maintain Shell scripts for automation, monitoring, and deployment tasks
  
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.)
  
• Ensure system reliability, performance, security, and scalability
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and product teams
  
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making
  

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in backend development
  
• Strong expertise in Node.js (TypeScript) and/or Python
  
• Proven experience working in the IoT domain
  
• Hands-on experience with MQTT protocol
  
• Strong database skills in MySQL and MongoDB
  
• Experience implementing Keycloak for authentication and authorization
  
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
  
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS preferred)
  
• Strong Shell scripting skills (Bash or similar)
  
• Good working knowledge of AWS services
  
• Experience with Linux-based systems
  
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  

• Experience with high-throughput or real-time systems
  
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  
• Exposure to Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
