Senior Backend Developer - Microservices

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable microservices using modern backend technologies.
• Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code adhering to best practices.
• Develop and manage APIs (RESTful, gRPC) for inter-service communication and external integrations.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers, in a remote setting.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to technical roadmap planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development, with significant experience in microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Experience with distributed systems, message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of database design (SQL and NoSQL) and caching mechanisms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
