Senior Backend Developer (.NET)
Summary
Senior backend developer on a product team in the travel industry, owning architecture and full-lifecycle development (design, coding, CI/CD, maintenance) of internal business applications. Core stack is C#/.NET 10 with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), messaging systems like RabbitMQ/Kafka, plus mentoring other developers.
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join a product team in the travel industry and take part in the full product development lifecycle - architecture, system design, development, deployment, and maintenance of new and existing features.
You'll work closely with the development team to ensure system consistency and a great user experience, and you'll be the driving force behind all back-end activities.
What you'll do:
Develop, maintain, and support internal business applications in C# / .NET 10;
Own architecture and system design decisions across new and existing features;
Mentor other developers and help grow their skills;
Drive best practices in development, code versioning, testing, and deployment (CI/CD);
Recommend innovative solutions that bring value to the business.
Requirements:
6+ years of backend development experience with C# and related technologies;
Strong SQL skills, preferably PostgreSQL or MySQL;
Strong experience creating and consuming APIs (rate limiting, caching, performance, queues);
Experience with messaging systems and communication patterns (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus);
Solid understanding of software design principles, modern design patterns, MVC, and microservices;
Experience with unit and integration testing;
Experience with authorization and security, and with structured logging;
Confident with Git / GitHub;
Basic knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP protocols;
Strong English, verbal and written;
Team player with a positive attitude and intrinsic motivation.

Blazor;
gRPC;
Angular and reactive programming principles;
Test-Driven Development (TDD);
Scrum / Agile experience.
