A US tax software company is migrating a legacy platform to a modern .NET 8+ backend built on Clean Architecture. You will translate complex business rules into robust Web APIs in a high-availability, regulated environment where precision matters.
What you will do
- Migrate legacy business logic to .NET 8+ Web APIs (Domain, Application, Infrastructure)
- Build secure APIs with strict authentication flows and compliance-driven session handling
- Optimize MySQL access: Dapper for performance-critical paths, EF Core for domain operations
- Define API contracts for frontend and payment provider integrations
What you bring
- 5+ years of backend development with .NET / C#
- Production experience with Clean Architecture and CQRS (MediatR or similar)
- Strong MySQL with Dapper and EF Core
- Hands-on AWS (Fargate, RDS)
- A real habit of unit and integration testing
- C1 English
Nice to have: payment integrations (Braintree, Paymentech), PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GDPR, Redis, SQS or RabbitMQ.
Remote from LATAM, full-time, long-term contract.
