📌Job Details

Location: Sunway Velocity, Kuala Lumpur (5-min walk from Cochrane MRT)
Work Days: Monday – Friday (Hybrid)
Working Hours: 9 AM – 6 PM / 10 AM - 7PM (Flexible)

Job Description

1. Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications using PHP (Laravel) and Golang.

2. Build RESTful APIs, microservices, background workers, and event-driven services.

3. Design and optimize database schemas, queries, caching strategies, and data pipelines.

4. Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, authentication systems, and external APIs.

5. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established coding standards and best practices.

6. Troubleshoot production issues, optimise application performance, and ensure system reliability.

7. Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, QA, and Product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

8. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical planning, and system design.

9. Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Min 3 years of related work experience.

• Proficiency in Back End dev. (Laravel, or other PHP frameworks)

• Proficiency in other frameworks/code bases is welcome to apply.

• Proficiency in Database System. (Mysql, MongoDB, NoSQL, etc)

• Expertise in Laravel Framework.

• Expertise in Frontend Framework (Vue.js, etc).

• Knowledge in server management. (Linode, AWS, etc)

• Knowledge of serverless applications.

• Knowledge in system admin.

• Experienced in SEO.
