Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable back-end services using Python and Django.
• Build and manage efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.
• Implement data storage solutions, including relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and potentially NoSQL databases.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver new features.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and application stability.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex back-end issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Contribute to architectural design decisions and technology selection.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Python, Django, and related technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Python and Django.
• Proven experience in designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational database design and management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with asynchronous programming and task queues (e.g., Celery).
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including testing and code reviews.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
