About The Job
As a senior Backend Developer, you will be part of the team that works on the development and maintenance of the backend components of multiple services related to the platform.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into clear, practical architectures.
- Improve existing core backend services written in NodeJS.
- Implement new solutions that interact with different core services through RPC calls.
- Write complex database queries for compliance and financial purposes.
- Ensure resilience and scalability of backend services as the platform continues to grow.
- Apply security best practices to protect the safety of the user base.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 years of experience working with JavaScript/Node.js.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of security practices.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Active participation in the development of a complex platform.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with blockchain integration.
- Comfortable with high-availability concepts.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Knowledge of message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues.
