Accountabilities:

  • Design, architect, and implement AI-powered backend systems that automate and optimize software development workflows.
  • Identify friction points across the engineering lifecycle and transform them into scalable, reliable automation solutions.
  • Develop intelligent workflows using agent-based architectures, orchestration frameworks, safety mechanisms, and automated recovery strategies.
  • Build evaluation frameworks to measure AI system performance, reliability, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Apply distributed systems expertise to ensure scalability, resilience, concurrency handling, and production readiness across multiple deployment environments.
  • Contribute across multiple areas of the codebase, adapting quickly to different technical domains and solving problems wherever they arise.
  • Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams to share tooling, best practices, technical roadmaps, and reusable solutions.
  • Drive technical innovation by helping transform internal engineering capabilities into scalable customer-facing products.
  • Requirements

    • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend development expertise.
    • Proven experience designing and deploying production-grade AI, agentic, or large language model-based systems.
    • Strong knowledge of distributed systems concepts including consistency, concurrency, fault tolerance, rate limiting, and scalability.
    • Advanced programming skills in Go (preferred), Rust, or Python, with the ability to work across multiple languages.
    • Experience working within complex codebases and independently delivering end-to-end technical solutions.
    • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle automation, build systems, release pipelines, or developer productivity tooling.
    • Familiarity with production AI evaluation methodologies, operational constraints, and large-scale system optimization.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
    • Experience working effectively within remote, cross-functional, and globally distributed engineering teams.
    • Passion for leveraging AI to improve engineering efficiency and software quality.
