About the role
We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join a large-scale public sector digital programme in Singapore. You will work within a multi-disciplinary delivery team building and running mission-critical public-facing systems on Azure. Key responsibilities
Design and develop server-side application logic Build and maintain APIs and microservices Perform database design and optimisation Implement security and performance controls What you will bring
Minimum 5 years in backend microservices; projects of 1,000+ man-days; led a team of at least 5 members Java/.NET/Node.js REST/GraphQL APIs SQL/NoSQL Microservices Azure CI/CD Git Security best practices Qualifications & certifications
Degree/Diploma in CS/IT or related Work arrangement
Location: Singapore, on-site at client premises Employment type: Contract / Permanent / Full Time Working days: Monday to Friday The successful candidate must be able to obtain the required government security clearance before starting Candidates with existing CAT security clearance will be preferred
