Senior Backend Engineer
Summary
Build and maintain scalable backend services in Go, handling everything from design to deployment and monitoring.
- Design and develop reliable and fault-tolerant systems with minimal guidance
- Translate the product requirement into technical, actionable steps
- Evaluate task effort and estimate deliverables
- Split the complex engineering task into smaller components
- Create unit tests and implement self-tests to make sure the code is running well
- Take responsibility for the entire life cycle of your product: development, testing, production, and subsequent fixes and improvements
Qualification
- Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Software Engineer, Backend
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in using Golang
- At least basic knowledge of Java
- Experienced in SQL, Design Patterns, MongoDB, Redis, PubSub, git workflow, gRPC, Distributed Systems, and Scalability
- Experience in software development lifecycle best practices
- Able to do performance benchmarking and monitoring
