Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend APIs using Python and Node.js.
- Build API integrations that export and apply translated content using XLIFF.
- Troubleshoot and resolve content model, identifier, and integration edge cases.
- Develop solutions for structured content transformation across multiple services.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable backend solutions.
- Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code following backend engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Must have strong hands-on expertise in Python and Node.js.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of API integration and backend service architecture.
- Experience working with structured content, document transformation, or data processing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice To Have
- Experience with XLIFF and localization workflows.
- Familiarity with Okapi Framework.
- Experience working with XML and similar structured markup formats.
- Exposure to content management or localization platforms.
- Relevant certifications in backend development or localization technologies.
Location: Philippines (Remote)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM/10:00 PM - 7:00AM (PH Time)
