Metropolis is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer, Edge to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems that integrate hardware with ML. You will work across AWS, Java/Scala, gRPC, Redis, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and Kafka to deliver high‑performance services.
This role focuses on distributed systems, real‑time data processing, and scalable infrastructure. You will collaborate with hardware, ML, and operations teams, address bottlenecks, and ensure reliability while delivering
