Senior Backend Engineer (Go / Golang & Distributed Systems) - Remote
Summary
12-month C2C contract via staffing firm Ingenious Fusion Tek for a confidential US fintech/payments client: build low-latency Go transaction pipelines and ledger settlement engines, optimize concurrent Go microservices, and write tests for core processing systems using Kafka, gRPC, PostgreSQL/Redis, and Kubernetes/AWS. 100% remote, US Nationwide (PST/EST).
Compensation: $176k – $197k
Pay rate: $85 – $95/hr on C2C Location: 100% Remote (US Nationwide, PST/EST) Duration: 12 Months Engagement: Corp-to-Corp (C2C) Work authorization: USC, GC, H1B, GC-EAD Client: Global fintech and payments company (name confidential until shortlisting - standard US staffing practice)
What you will do:
- Build low-latency financial transaction pipelines and ledger settlement engines.
- Optimize concurrent Go routines and memory allocation for zero-downtime microservices.
- Write unit, integration, and load testing scripts for core processing systems.
What you will bring:
- 7+ years of core backend engineering with 4+ years of production experience in Golang.
- Deep experience with high-throughput distributed systems, Kafka, and gRPC microservices.
- Strong database knowledge across PostgreSQL and Redis/NoSQL.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS infrastructure.
