About

We're looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer who is passionate about building scalable backend systems while leveraging AI to improve software development. You'll join an international engineering team responsible for designing modern distributed systems, developing cloud-native services, and introducing AI-driven approaches to accelerate feature delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go and Java

• Build scalable microservices running in a Kubernetes environment

• Leverage AI tools and technologies to accelerate software development and prototype new solutions

• Design and implement APIs and event-driven architectures

• Work with Apache Pulsar, event streaming, and event sourcing

• Develop cloud-native services using Functions as a Service (FaaS)

• Automate deployments using GitOps principles with ArgoCD

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Work closely with Frontend Engineers, QA Engineers, DevOps, and other backend developers in an Agile environment

• Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives

What you bring

• Several years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer

• Strong experience with Go and/or Java

• Experience building distributed systems and microservices

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes

• Knowledge of event-driven architectures, messaging, or event sourcing

• Interest in using AI to improve software engineering workflows

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Proactive, collaborative mindset

• Professional level of English

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Pulsar

• Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps

• Experience with FaaS / Serverless

• Business analysis or product collaboration experience

• Experience building AI-powered or AI-assisted solutions
