Summary
Senior Backend Engineer at Jeen AI building an enterprise conversational AI platform: developing production-grade Voice AI and Chat agents, scalable multi-tenant SaaS backend services in Python/FastAPI and NestJS/TypeScript, and LLM integrations (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude), based on-site in Tel Aviv.
Join Jeen Talk and help build one of the most advanced Enterprise Conversational AI platforms. You'll develop production-ready Voice AI and Chat AI solutions used by enterprise customers worldwide, working on real-time voice infrastructure, AI orchestration, and modern web applications.
You'll be part of a fast-moving startup environment with high ownership, working closely with Product, AI, and DevOps teams to build scalable AI-powered customer experience solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop production-grade AI Voice Agents and Chat Agents.
- Build scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Integrate OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, and additional AI providers.
- Design scalable multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
- Optimize performance, latency, scalability, and system reliability.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning.
- Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Backend or Full Stack development experience, with a strong focus on backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with NestJS and TypeScript.
- Strong experience designing and developing scalable backend services and architectures.
- Experience building REST APIs and asynchronous services.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and relational data modeling.
- Experience with Python and FastAPI or similar modern backend frameworks.
- Experience with React and modern frontend development.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, or Claude.
- Strong understanding of scalable software architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience working with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and production environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building Voice AI or Conversational AI applications.
- Experience with SIP, VoIP, or telephony systems.
- Experience with Twilio or enterprise communication platforms.
- Experience with RAG pipelines and Vector Databases.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- Experience deploying enterprise SaaS and On-Prem solutions.
