As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving backend systems while ensuring scalability, security, and performance. You will work closely with technical and business teams to deliver reliable solutions that support product growth and customer needs.

• Architect, develop, and maintain core backend services and platform components.
• Translate business requirements into scalable modules, features, and technical solutions.
• Design solutions with long-term considerations around stability, security, maintainability, and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, customer success, and design teams to deliver impactful features.
• Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and improve system reliability.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering best practices.
• Build and optimize services using modern backend technologies and cloud-based approaches.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across development processes and workflows.
• Take ownership of assigned projects while working independently in an agile environment.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced backend engineer with strong technical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to contribute to large-scale software development initiatives.

• 4+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2+ years of experience working with Node.js and MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, API development, and scalable system design.
• Experience designing and implementing highly scalable solutions.
• Knowledge of AWS and microservices architecture is highly valued.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and modern development workflows.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to technical details.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing technical ownership.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
