Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver backend services end-to-end, including APIs, data models, deployment, and observability.
- Ensure production reliability through monitoring, incident management, and on-call support.
- Lead technical design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Build scalable services across SaaS, on-premises, and disconnected environments.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams.
- Leverage LLMs and modern AI tools to enhance development and platform capabilities.
Key Requirements
- 5–8 years of backend engineering experience with proven service ownership.
- Strong proficiency in Python (preferred), Go, or Java, including asynchronous programming.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, backend architecture, and system design.
- Hands‑on experience with caching, queues, retries, idempotency, and observability.
- Experience in production support, incident management, and on-call rotations.
- Experience with SaaS and on-premises deployments.
